Across the country, the FamilyWize Community Service Partnership is working with the United Way to help people in our region get medicine they otherwise wouldn't have been able to afford. Together, these agencies are now offering free prescription drug savings cards that can help cut health care costs.
When Mid-Plains United Way partnered with the FamilyWize prescription drug discount program, they didn’t know the response to the program would be so great. The prescription card saves an average of 43% on prescriptions.
The FamilyWize prescription cards are available at the Mid-Plains United Way office at 315 North Dewey St., Suite 203B, in downtown North Platte (second floor of the Wells Fargo building), and from our partner agencies. They may be used at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS Pharmacy, Rite Aid, Costco Wholesale, Albertsons, Safeway, Sam’s Club, Kroger and Kmart. Visit www.familywize.org for more information, or to sign up.
